Media & Community Voice
Our Media Presence, Guided by Community
River Sage Revival is a rural-rooted nonprofit dedicated to transforming how mental health, recovery, and community wellness are understood and accessed in overlooked places. Based in the Kern River Valley and serving communities across Kern, Inyo, Mono, and Tulare counties, we design and deliver services that reflect the realities of rural life—not the assumptions of urban systems.

Our programs include nature-based healing, veteran outreach, recovery support, family resilience, and cultural education—all guided by lived experience, systems thinking, and a belief that change should be created with communities, not for them.

As an organization, we believe media is more than promotion—it’s responsibility. Every word, sign, and story we share is an act of advocacy. Our communications work honors the people we serve, the land we walk, and the stories that rarely make headlines but define entire lives.

"Media isn't just about what's said. It's about who gets heard. Our work honors those who often go unseen."
