Therapist-in-Training Requirements
Applicants must be actively enrolled in a graduate-level counseling or psychotherapy program (MA or MS) and currently in an approved practicum or internship phase as defined by their institution. Placement eligibility requires a formal training agreement between River Sage Revival and the applicant’s school, along with meeting all program-specific requirements for supervision, documentation, and liability coverage. Because River Sage Revival provides ECM and Community Supports services throughout rural Kern, Inyo, and Mono counties, trainees must have a good driving record, valid driver’s license, current registration and insurance, reliable transportation, and a willingness to serve outlying and frontier communities within their assigned region.
About the Company
River Sage Revival is a rural-rooted, community-driven organization dedicated to expanding access to meaningful behavioral health support across Kern, Inyo, and Mono counties. We walk alongside individuals and families through Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports, meeting people where they live, heal, work, and gather. Our work is shaped by the land, the river, and the belief that rural communities deserve the same quality of care, dignity, and opportunity as anywhere else. We build programs that strengthen belonging, reduce barriers, and restore the wellbeing of our neighbors—one relationship, one service, and one community at a time.
