Marketing Specialist Requirements
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, or community outreach, with the ability to translate complex behavioral health, ECM, and Community Supports services into clear, accessible messaging for rural communities. Applicants should be skilled in digital content creation, social media management, brand development, and community-focused storytelling. Familiarity with rural engagement strategies, local events, and culturally grounded communication is strongly preferred. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, current registration and insurance, and a safe driving record are required for regional travel across Kern, Inyo, Mono, and Tulare counties. Lived experience relevant to the populations served is highly valued. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and create materials that strengthen trust, visibility, and connection across frontier communities.
