CHW Requirements
Minimum one year of experience in community health, peer support, social services, outreach, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education, lived experience, and transferable skills will be considered in place of formal work history. If you have supported people in your community, helped others find resources, or navigated systems on behalf of someone you care about, your experience matters here. Community Health Worker certification preferred but not required. Valid California driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
