Administrative Director Requirements
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in administrative leadership within behavioral health, community health, or nonprofit settings. A strong understanding of DHCS, Medi-Cal, and ECM/CS operational requirements is essential, including familiarity with billing workflows, compliance standards, personnel management, and multi-county program coordination. Applicants should be skilled in supervising administrative staff, managing budgets, overseeing contracts, and supporting organizational systems as programs expand across Kern, Inyo, Mono, and Tulare counties. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, current registration and insurance, and a safe driving record are required for occasional regional travel. Lived experience relevant to the communities served is valued and welcomed. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and be able to support complex, fast-growing rural operations with clarity, integrity, and accountability.
